Phaeochromocytoma – Arteriography Plain radiography of the abdomen may reveal displacement of the kidney by a suprarenal mass, whereas intravenous urography associated with tomography may delineate the tumour itself. Historically, adrenal arteriography (Fig. 10.17) was commonly performed but is not without risk. For this reason, computerised tomography (CT) of the adrenals is presently the method of choice.
